New Governors Please!
Could you be our New Parent Governor?
Dear all, we are looking to appoint a new parent governor and we also have space for a community member who could be a grandparent or friend.

What the Governors do...
- Meet 4 times a year online and /or in school.
- Make sure the budget is sound and helps meet our pupils needs.
- Have a committee which meets 3 times a year online, to plan staffing, spending and premises matters.
- Review general pupil achievement and progress and consider how we can continue to improve further.
- Speak to OFSTED and the Local Authority as required about the good work of the school.
- Help interview new staff and select our future academy trust.
- Meet with staff leaders to review their subject or area of responsibility and visit lessons / activities in school.
- Make sure all governors are up standing members of the community with a clear DBS (criminal record check).
