If Your Child is Ill

As From 8th March...

If your child is ill - Please do not send your child to school if they or anyone in your household has symptoms of Coronavirus; cough, high temperature, lack of smell / taste.

The isolation period is 10 days for the household.

Children and staff can access a COVID 19 test kit (PCR) from school, please ask the office for details 01773 811317.

If your test is negative you may return to school straight away.

Currently, should anyone within the household become sick with Coronavirus, the whole household would have to self-isolate for 10 days.

PLEASE DO NOT DOSE YOUR CHILD WITH CALPOL OR OTHER MEDICINE TO MASK SYMPTOMS AND SEND THEM TO SCHOOL.  THIS PUTS ALL OF US IN SCHOOL AT RISK.

Please do not send your child to school if they or anyone in the household is waiting for the outcomes of a Coronavirus test.

If your child becomes sick during the school day, staff will supervise and care for them from a 2m distance, in a well ventilated designated sick bay, away from other children, wearing PPE.

We will not usually wear full PPE unless someone becomes ill during the school day.

We will call parents / carers to collect any sick children immediately.

Please arrive at office to collect your child as soon as you can.

Please ensure that school has up to date contact details with at least three contacts for your child.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION
