Catch Up Programme

Across the UK, schools are working hard to help pupils to 'catch up' from lost learning time, as a result of the unprecedented COVID 19 pandemic during 2020 and 2021.  The impact of school closures during this time is not yet fully understood but we do know that pupils well being, attainment and progress have been badly affected.

Schools have been allocated funding, based on the amount of pupils and depraction figures to help them to provide additonal support for those who are the furthest behind or most affected by the school closures.

The document below shows how we plan to acheive this at The Brigg Infant School, as approved by the governoing body.
